Vojvodina Organic Cluster is an association founded in 2014 by institutions, organizations, producers, processors, and distributors of organic products.
Our goal is to enhance the innovation, competitiveness, and sustainability of organic agriculture in Vojvodina through:

We foster partnerships with like-minded associations, chambers, institutions, organizations, and funds to advance organic agriculture through knowledge exchange, joint initiatives, and strategic cooperation.

Meet us
Prof. dr Srđan Šeremešić
Prof. dr Srđan Šeremešić
Dr. Srđan Šeremešić has 25 years of experience in research and education in the fields of agroecology, organic agriculture, cropping systems, and the cultivation of field crops. He earned his PhD from the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Novi Sad, in 2012, where he is currently employed full-time as a full professor.
He currently serves as the Head of the Chair of Field and Vegetable Crops at the Department of Field and Vegetable Crops and is a member of the Faculty of Agriculture’s Teaching and Scientific Council.
Dr. Šeremešić is a member of the Serbian Soil Science Society, the International Soil Tillage Research Organization (ISTRO), the Serbian Tillage Research Society, the International Society of Organic Agriculture Research (ISOFAR), Agroecology Europe, the European Society for Agronomy (ESA), and Matica Srpska. He has completed multiple mobility programs and study visits abroad.
He is the recipient of the “Prof. Dr. Lazar Stojković” award for his contributions to the development of agroecology. So far, he has participated in five international and 13 national projects. As an author or co-author, he has published over 300 scientific works and has participated in more than 50 international conferences. He is a member of the editorial boards of two national and four international journals.
As a mentor, he has contributed to the completion of 25 BSc, 20 MSc, and four PhD dissertations. He has also significantly contributed to VOK through the development of young professionals, the infrastructure of producers, and knowledge transfer.
Dr Brankica Babec
Dr Brankica Babec
Dr. Brankica Babec has been employed since 2017 at the Sunflower Department of the Institute of Field and Vegetable Crops, an institute of national importance for the Republic of Serbia (IFVCNS). She has experience in organic vegetable production and has served as the President of the Youth Organization and Head of the Organic Production Sector at the “GF Etnos” Foundation. Since 2015, she has been the Head of the Education and Marketing Sector at VOC, and since 2023, she has taken on the role of Head of the Project Activities Sector.
Dr. Babec earned her bachelor’s, master’s, and PhD degrees at the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Novi Sad, specializing in sustainable agricultural production systems. As an author or co-author, she has published over 50 scientific papers and abstracts in national and international journals and conference proceedings. Her research focuses on sunflower cultivation technology, sustainable agriculture, and organic farming.
She has participated in projects funded by European Union, the Science Fund of the Republic of Serbia, the Provincial Secretariat for Education and Scientific Research, among others. She coordinated activities on the project “Sustainable and climate-resilient sunflower value chain and corresponding innovative climate-resilient production systems,” co-financed by the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO).
Dr. Babec is a member of the Center of Excellence for Legumes at IFVCNS, the Serbian Society of Physiologists, and several organizational committees of major scientific events, such as the International Sunflower Conference (ISC 2022) and the scientific-expert meeting “Ecological Production Methods as a Basis for Improving Soil Quality in AP Vojvodina, 2022.”
She is also the Technical Editor of the scientific journal “Annals of Scientific Papers” of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Novi Sad. Additionally, she has participated in over 25 training programs and courses organized by EUTA, FiBL, BÖLW, PE&RC, and other institutions.
Dr Miloš Rajković
Dr Miloš Rajković
Dr Miloš Rajković has 17 years of experience in plant protection research, with a particular focus on non-chemical weed control methods and precision agriculture. He earned his PhD from the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Belgrade, where he researched weed control using flame application in maize and soybean crops.
He worked for 13 years at the Institute of Field and Vegetable Crops in Novi Sad, before continuing his career at the Institute for Medicinal Plant Research “Dr Josif Pančić”. He has also served as Assistant Secretary for Agriculture, Water Management, and Forestry in the Provincial Government, and was the President of the Organizing Committee of the XI Congress on Weeds and Growth Regulators.
Rajković is a member of the European Weed Research Society (EWRS), the Serbian Weed Science Society, and the Serbian Plant Protection Society. He has completed specialization programs in China (Nanjing, 2010; Beijing, 2023), Israel (Tel Aviv, 2018), and Turkey (Antalya, 2019).
At the Faculty of Ecological Agriculture, Educons University, he teaches at the undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral levels. He has participated in seven Horizon projects, three international projects, and seven national projects and has authored 126 scientific publications.
Since the establishment of VOC, Rajković has been actively involved in all activities related to organizing organic producers, establishing production chains, and implementing knowledge transfer projects in organic agriculture.
Dr Bojan Vojnov
Dr Bojan Vojnov
Dr. Bojan Vojnov has 8 years of experience in research and education in the fields of agroecology and sustainable agriculture, with a focus on organic farming. He earned his PhD at the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Novi Sad in 2022, with his dissertation titled “Effect of Winter Cover Crops on the Properties of Chernozem and the Biological-Production Properties of Crops in Post-planting Terms”. He is a scholar of the “Dositej” Fund for Young Talents of the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
Dr. Vojnov is currently employed as an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Novi Sad. He previously served as Secretary of the Chair of Field and Vegetable Crops at the Department of Field and Vegetable Crops. He is also a member of the Coordination Board of the Career Development Center and the Working Group for Promotion at the Faculty of Agriculture.
He has completed several mobility programs and study visits in Austria, Germany, Poland, Slovenia, and Belgium. Dr. Vojnov is a member of the Serbian Soil Science Society, the International Soil Tillage Research Organization (ISTRO), the Serbian Tillage Research Society, and Matica Srpska. He is a recipient of the “Prof. Dr. Lazar Stojković” Award for his scientific contribution to agroecology and agroecosystems.
As an author or co-author, he has published over 90 scientific works. He has participated in two Horizon projects, three international projects, two national projects, and has coordinated six domestic projects in the NGO sector. He has also participated in two startup competitions.
Dr. Vojnov is the editor of the illustrated publication “Organic Farms in Vojvodina”, the founder of the traditional event “Deliblatska Peščara at Dusk”, and the author of six documentaries on the preservation of tradition, nature, and rural life. Since 2015, he has served as VOCs Marketing Manager, and since 2023, he has been a member of the Board of Directors.
Milica Popović
Milica Popović
Milica Popović is an entrepreneur with twenty years of experience. Her small family business, Gea Plant, began by producing greenhouses, vegetable and flower seedlings, and vegetables, which led her to become a regular presence at the “Moj Salaš” markets, organized by the Green Network of Vojvodina.
Milica started as a vegetable producer and later became the manager of the “Moj Salaš” market. She has completed various educations, seminars, and training in the field of organic production, including the Emerita Branka Lazić schools, and later became a lecturer in entrepreneurship within these schools.
Seventeen years ago, Milica opened the first organic product store in Serbia, “Moj Salaš,” which is still successfully operating today under the name “Geaorganic.” As one of the founders of VOC, her daily work with organic producers and consumers ensures a deep understanding of their needs.
