Organic Farms in Vojvodina

Why This Brochure Matters

The brochure Organic Farms in Vojvodina is designed for everyone who sees organic farming as their path towards a healthier, more sustainable, and fulfilling future. Whether you are a farmer searching for new opportunities, a student envisioning your career in organic production, or simply someone who cares about the food you eat, this publication offers insights that inspire and inform.

Vojvodina – Land of Organic Potential

Blessed with fertile plains, rich biodiversity, and a long agricultural tradition, Vojvodina holds immense natural potential for organic production. In recent years, this potential has been further strengthened by educational institutions. The Faculty of Agriculture in Novi Sad produced its first graduates in Organic Agriculture several years ago, while Educons University followed with graduates in Ecological Agriculture – young experts ready to lead the way in green transformation. Alongside academic development, the establishment of a comprehensive legislative framework and dedicated institutions has created strong foundations for sector growth. These changes ensure that farmers and producers can operate within clear guidelines, with better market access and support systems that encourage expansion and innovation.

United for a Common Goal

Prepared by the Vojvodina Organic Cluster, the publication “Organic Farms in Vojvodina” was created with one purpose: to support and stimulate the development of the organic market in our region. Although still a relatively small sector, organic production holds the potential to become a vital link in Serbia’s agricultural export chain. But to achieve this, we need unity. Only by working together, sharing knowledge, and moving towards a common goal can we strengthen organic farming into a resilient, innovative, and profitable sector that benefits farmers, consumers, and the environment alike.
