The Vojvodina Organic Cluster proudly announces the Organic Producers Business Meetings 2025, which will be held on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, in the Grand Hall of the Chamber of Commerce of Vojvodina in Novi Sad. This event will bring together organic producers, processors, distributors, researchers, institutional representatives, and experts from across Serbia and the region, with the aim of exchanging knowledge, strengthening business connections, and launching new joint initiatives.
The meetings will begin with participant registration at 9 a.m., followed by welcoming remarks from the organizers and hosts. Dr. Miloš Rajković, VOC Project Manager, will open the event, followed by a speech from MSc Mladen Petković from the Chamber of Commerce of Vojvodina. The program will continue with Dr. Brankica Babec presenting the cluster’s current projects – Einstein and Clima Pannonia – which offer new opportunities for the organic sector.
Particular interest is expected for presentations on innovations: MSc Boris Savović from Dron Spray will speak about the use of drones in organic farming, while Rajko Lazić from Prima Bio Solutions will present plant protection products aligned with organic production principles. After a short coffee break, participants will have the opportunity to hear presentations on soil health preservation by Dr. Kristina Kalkan from the Biosens Institute, as well as the importance of preserving indigenous bean varieties, presented by Dr. Mirko Đorđević from the Institute for Biological Research “Siniša Stanković.” The event will conclude with a joint discussion and adoption of conclusions, followed by a cocktail reception for all participants.
In the afternoon, an exhibition of organic products in Hall 1a and a visit to the International Agricultural Fair are planned, providing participants with an additional opportunity to explore the current offerings of domestic and international producers.
VOC invites all interested parties to register by May 15, 2025, as the number of places is limited. More information and registration are available on the official VOC website or through the contact form on our site.
“We believe that the organic sector is strongest when connected. Therefore, these meetings are not just an opportunity to exchange business cards, but a place where ideas, partnerships, and innovations that push the boundaries of what is possible in organic agriculture are born,” emphasizes Dr. Miloš Rajković, VOC Project Manager.
Such meetings are crucial for the further development of the sector as they facilitate knowledge exchange, strengthen business networks, and encourage joint projects that can contribute to enhancing the position of organic production in domestic and international markets. See you in Novi Sad – let’s build the organic future together!
